patches

in a previous post, i was writing about the concrete replacement on the surface of my favorite jail building.
after researching about it, i came to the conclusion [and this was also my intuitional thought] that there is no steel on the new patch to replace the old: the union between the two concrete parts comes with only an "epoxy" glue!

*at this point i should admit that my photo is influenced little bit by the series of jeremy's patterns.
