You must really be proud of yourself, Z. Becoming part of MIT is a feat only the better than the best can achieve. Harvard PhD, MIT faculty, the sky is the limit. Well done kid! Your parents and the rest of us who have the pleasure of your acquaintance are really proud of you!

To anonymous: No idea what you mean. The space has got as much light as it needs. It's a great shot and the colors contrast superbly with each other.

Thank you for the kind and nice words! The position I was offered at Art, Culture and Technology at MIT is to be Research Affiliate for the current academic year. I am currently conducting research under the tile "Zitofos" (which means "I ask for light" among other things) and I plan to use the space as an inspiration and experimentation field. Places like the Cube, where they do not have direct access to day-light are given often for office spaces in North America. This phenomenon, the luck of light in space, is the spark for the Zitofos research. Of course you are right The Cube is an amazing space, it fact it has been originally designed to be used as a theatrical space, but it has changed programs along the years. The Cube has been part of Media Lab and has served as an inspiration for the new Media Lab building. I will present this in an upcoming post! Thank you for visiting bee-zee.=]
